Our client is a leading company providing innovative non-life insurance solutions for individuals and businesses. They focus on simplifying insurance processes, offering flexible products like auto and property insurance, and are known for their fast-growing, customer-friendly approach.

 

Role

You will lead the development of a new cloud data platform in Azure (Databricks/Fabric) and manage the migration from on-premises solutions. Your tasks will include integrating data from systems (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, REST API, Kafka), developing a Delta Lake House, and collaborating with data analysts to enhance solutions. You’ll establish best practices, share knowledge with the team, and automate processes.
The company has modern, award-winning offices in Brno and offers hybrid work with the option to work on an employment contract (up to 120,000 CZK) or as a freelancer (up to 130-140,000 CZK) based on your preference and experience.
This role will evolve into a Team Leader position with higher remuneration.

Requirements

  • Experience with data solutions and development
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python (or another language)
  • Experience with cloud, ideally Azure
  • Professional-level English and Czech
